1/31/17 Heat and Patience

Hola Todos,

Wow, one more week has flown by down here in the Patagonia. We are doing the best we can to push through the heat and keep working hard. The heat hit over a hundred soooo im sweating a lot and learning to love the mornings and nights when its nice and cool. My area isnt too big but we walk a lot visiting the other missionaries in the zone.

All of us missionaries had a world wide conference and we are now able to choose when we do certain things like eat breakfast, study, eat lunch, and do excersise. We are just able to be more flexible and in my mission get up at 730!!!!! We also have more time on Pday for all of our awesome Pday activities.

We saw a miracle this week with our investigators Veronica y Gonzalo. Veronica is the mom of Gonzalo. We taught them throughout the week and they started to keep their comitments. Then on Sunday we sent a message to remind them about church. We got a message back just saying,"I cant wake up my kids." We offered to go and help and she didnt respond for a long time. As we were waiting I prayed and felt like I should just wait. Im very impatient and like and usually just take action and get it done. Wating killed me but she responded saying "We are going at 1130!" I know God hears our prayers. He knows us, and He knows what is going in our lives and how to help us. I prayed for help and He sent it. Yes I wanted to be the help, but sometimes we have to let others and sometimes let other people do it for themselves. I cant force anyone to do anything and I am grateful that I could learn that this last week.

I know that God lives. He loves us. He knows what is going on in everyones lives. He knows what is the right things for us. He knows, He lives, He is our Father. I know it, I have felt it and I have seen Him touch others right in front of me. I know you can feel His love, IF you put in your side of the deal. Just ask, its the youth theme and I know its insprired. Our leaders pray for us and they are called of God. Ask as Joseph Smith did, and I KNOW that you will recieve an answer. Les Quiero y Vamos a bautizar!!!!

1/23/17 Trelew is HOT!!!

Hola Todos,

Week one in Trelew was decent. I wasnt able to be in my area a lot but I had a good week traveling and learning more on how to be a better missionary and leader. Tuesday I got here in Trelew and Wednesday I had to go back to Comodoro for a meeting. So I traveled another 5 hours back down south. I like traveling because im able to sleep. Haha, in Comodoro I stayed in a Hotel and was able to room with my old District Leader Elder Campopiano. Its was nice to talk with him because he lived with me in Comodoro.

When I got back to Trelew after another 5 hour bus ride, we started working hard. My area doesnt have a lot going on right now but we are excited to start reviving the area. As well my Zone is small but we have a lot of really good missionaries. We set a few goals and put some ideas down for activities and are excited to change the vibe in the Zone.

My ward is smaller and we are in a big Chapel sooo its kinda awkward for everyone but we are going to start working to get a better assitance. My area is very very hot well for it is. I havent felt the heat in a long time soo im melting up here. I sweat a lot and im grateful for my nice cold mission. I hope i can say that in the winter;) haha

I know that this Church is true. The highlight for me this week was just learning how to be better. I have a lot of work to do and I am excited to get a going. I know that we can always improve and learn from our mistakes. Repend or Change and become more like Christ. He WILL be waiting. He IS waiting for you. Take one step and He'll help you along. Les Quiero y esta semana tenemos una conferencia mundial con todos los misioneros. Entonces estoy animado para aprender mas y ponerlo en practica:)

1/9/17 Preach HIS Gospel:)

Hola Todos,

Im looking down on only one more week here in the true and only windy city of Comodoro Rivadavia. I have six months here and have had a bunch of wonderful spiritual experiences. This last week was an amazing week and we worked really hard. I have been able to be apart of Claudios conversion the whole way and this week he was able to teach with the missionaries almost everyday! When we help with missionary work our families are blessed. This next story will show how I saw it this week.

On Wednesday my companion Elder Bodily and I went to teach Malvina (Claudios wife) and Claudio was getting ready to leave. This was kinda weird because he is always home after fourish and doesnt leave. We asked him where he was going and told us out to preach the gospel. I laughed and said with who and he replied by saying Elder Febbo and Elder LLoyd. They are two elders in my district. So Claudio leaves and we begin teaching Malvina. We read from 2 Nephi 31 and talked about baptism. The spirit was there and Malvina accepted the baptism invitation. Claudio then saw us walking and picked us up and we were able to tell him that his wife is going to be baptized as he was coming home from preaching the gospel with the other missionaries.

I know God knows us I know His son Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. I know They want us to preach the gospel. Christs gospel is true. Through baptism we are cleansed and can renew that covenant every Sunday. I know as we share and preach the Gospel we are blessed. Tough times come and if you trust in our Heavenly Father all will be well. Les quiero, Malvina se va a bautizar, estoy re contento, me voy de comodoro pero voy a extrañar todo, amo mi misión, y se que esta iglesia es la verdadera!!!!!!
